AVENIR GLOBAL acquires Marker Collective, the parent of Archetype
6 November 2026
AVENIR GLOBAL has acquired Marker Collective, the parent of Archetype, Nectar and Outcast, from Next 15 Group. Archetype keeps its name, leadership and client teams across Asia Pacific.
AVENIR GLOBAL, the Montreal-based holding company of specialist communications firms, has acquired Marker Collective from Next 15 Group. Marker Collective is the parent of three technology-focused agencies, Archetype, Nectar and Outcast, and the AI-powered media intelligence platform Delve. The acquisition was announced on 5 November 2026.
For Archetype’s clients in Asia Pacific, nothing changes day to day. The same teams, the same leadership and the same client programs continue across Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, India and Greater China.
What has been announced
Marker Collective employs around 650 people across 20 offices in the US, UK, continental Europe and Asia Pacific. With Marker, AVENIR GLOBAL says it now has more than 1,500 employees and ranks among the 15 largest communications firms in the world by revenue.
Marker Collective will continue to operate as a distinct business within AVENIR GLOBAL, led by CEO Helena Maus. Archetype, Nectar, Outcast and Delve keep their own identities, leadership teams and client focus.
Who is AVENIR GLOBAL?
AVENIR GLOBAL is a holding and management company of specialist communications firms, headquartered in Montreal, Canada, and marking its 50th anniversary in 2026. Its network includes NATIONAL Public Relations, Padilla, SHIFT Communications, Hanover, Madano, AXON and Cherry. Marker Collective adds three technology specialist agencies and a proprietary AI platform to the group.
What does the acquisition mean for Archetype clients in Asia Pacific?
Archetype clients in Asia Pacific keep the same account teams, contracts and points of contact. Archetype continues to operate under its own name with its regional leadership in place, and existing programs carry on as planned.
The change sits at group level. Archetype is now part of a larger international communications network, which gives Archetype’s clients access to a wider pool of specialist expertise and markets.
What the leaders said
Jean-Pierre Vasseur, President and CEO of AVENIR GLOBAL, described the acquisition as “another important step in our international growth”, pointing to Marker’s people, agencies, client relationships and technology.
Helena Maus, CEO of Marker Collective, called it “a strong vote of confidence” in Marker’s people, clients and operating model.
